Funding requirements

With a two stage project implementation recommended there will be two separate commitments to the funding of LUSIP. The first commitment for Stage I should be in place in the year 2000, the second, for Stage II, six years later.

The funding will need to come from the Government of Swaziland, the private sector and a number of donors. It is proposed, that LUSIP will be parallel financed. Several donors have been approached in order to identify their interest to provide grants, soft or commercial loans or other financial contributions.
