Contractors

Contractors will be engaged for detailed design, supervision, construction and services. The MOAC will notably be involved in extension services and cooperative building.

The field activities for the cash crops will mainly be carried out by the private sector. It is the task of the IU to take the necessary measures to ensure that the required services will be supplied to the new irrigators timeously so that the project benefits will materialise as soon as possible.

The extension service delivery will have to be organised, managed and monitored. The Extension Service of the MOAC and possibly some contractors will be invited to manage and monitor the overall extension system.
