Steering Committee

The Steering Committee has already been in place since the beginning of the Feasibility Study. It consists of representatives of various ministries, representatives from the European Union as the main donor up to now, and representatives from the private agro-processing sector.

The main task of the SC is to monitor the development of the project and to derive proposals for policy makers. The SC is supported by so-called inter-ministerial Technical Committees. During the process of getting funding commitments, other donors will join the Steering Committee.

It is proposed that an Expert Panel of all donors will regularly review and support the project, in the beginning every six months, later every year.
