Timetable

The irrigated area will be developed in 2 phases. First, Bovane Block, covering about 6,465 ha will be developed, followed by South Block (Matata), covering 5,041 ha. Accordingly, the development of the total area and the financing of LUSIP will be split up into two separate phases:  

• Stage I: Bovane Block, six years development
• Stage II: South Block (Matata), four years development
